Product Overview

Wild Mushrooms

From the forests directly to the sales floors … it’s not that simple. Behind every wooden basket of wild mushrooms, there is a production company involved. The collectors bring various mushrooms: different in nature, size and moisture. It is the sorters that have significant influence on the quality and appereance of your goods. They stand in chilled rooms and put similar mushrooms together. Sometimes there are up to six pots in front of them. Then they weigh and pack the goods. The truck is loaded: 33 pallets, about 8.5 tons, make their way to export customs.

A lab examines the goods for radioactivity. In Germany veterinary offices doublecheck the results on a random basis. In Oppenweiler we check the quality again, produce ready-to-cook chanterelles and carry out your order.

Mastering this entire process chain is a challenge. In close coordination with our long-standing partners, we deliver high-quality goods with commitment and in scalable quantities. No matter whether the harvest was insufficient. Moreover, we also offer some forest mushrooms from certified wild collection.
